This workshop provides hands-on basic training in the use of QuickBooks Online accounting software. Through a demonstration and hands-on format, you’ll get an overview of how to effectively use QuickBooks from the perspective of a small business owner.
We will cover the following subjects as they apply to your company:
- Products & Services setup
- Generate invoices
- Receive payments
- Make deposits
- Pay bills
- Write checks
- Generate accounting reports and financial statements
- Customizing financial reports
- Account reconciliation
- Journal entries
This is an interactive session, and participants are encouraged to bring a fully
-charged laptop and download QuickBooks Online Essentials version via a free 30-day trial to get hands-on experience during class. Presenter:Tim Hunter is the retired Chief Executive Officer of Hunter Capital Markets, LLC, a broker dealer and proprietary trading firm he founded in 2003, involved in Statistical Arbitrage and Algorithmic trading. Tim was with Goldman Sachs & Co. from 1999 to 2002, there he was responsible for the electronic market-making of Exchange Traded Funds products. Tim is a Certified Public Accountant and has completed all course work for an M.A. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
