What You Need to Know about Franchise Ownership

With Michael Rosen, President, FranNet

Monday, May 7, 2018, 7:00-8:30pm

Learn how franchising a business allows you to be in business for yourself, but no by yourself. In this program you learn about these topics including...

  • The Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)
  • That franchise industry is regulated by the Federal Trade Commission and is required to fild the FDD annually
  • Franchising misconceptions - with over 3,100 franchise concepts in 90 industries, franchising is much more than just "French Fries"
  • Growth in Franchising - output has consistently grown faster than the U.S. GDP
  • How to build your personal business model and find the right fit.

As a local FranNet franchise owner and consultant for Connecticut and Rhode Island, Michael Rosen's role is to provide education and guidance to help you determine if franchise ownership is right for you. Michael consults with individuals interested in exploring franchise opportunities. In addition to one-on-one client consultation, Michael conducts franchising workshops and seminars, partnering with outplacement agencies, the Small Business Administration, Small Business Development Centers, SCORE, local libraries and more.

This workshop is FREE! REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED online at the Brookfield Library website: https://www.brookfieldlibrary.org/events/small-business-workshop-series-4/ or call the library at (203) 775-6241.

Co-sponsored by the Brookfield Economic Development Commission, Newtown Savings Bank and SCORE of Western CT.
