Simplifying QuickBooks 

QuickBooks is presented as a tool for storing transaction data for your business. In this most basic introduction, you will see how the user interface works. The different versions of QuickBooks will be compared, so you can make the best choice to meet your needs. Our goal is to prepare you for the free, one-on-one sessions with a SCORE mentor to help your set up your company in QuickBooks, begin the data entry process, and generate the reports to aid tax preparation and to monitor the financial status of your business. This workshop includes short, online tutorials to introduce the QuickBooks interfaces for both desktop and online versions.

This is not a hands-on workshop. After this workshop, free one-on-one mentoring is available through SCORE where we work with you individually your business set-up in QuickBooks and on a chart of accounts appropriate to your business. We also help you with your data entry and with corrections.
