We are growing 32 varieties of heirloom tomatoes at Hope Farms, and we want you to taste them! Join us for Chefs in the Field: A Tomato Tribute and celebration of summer's bounty at the Farm.
We will begin the evening in the Chefs' Garden with cocktails from TwoTwoFresh and a tomato tasting designed to introduce you to the unique flavors of our heirloom varietals. Then we will gather round our communal table in the gathering barn surrounded by cooling fans, where notable Houston chefs Wayne Nguyen, Martin Stayer and Alyssa Dole will present their four-course meal crafted from the summer's bounty of Hope Farms' fields and local makers--including Brother's Produce, Sysco premium purveyors and Heartbrand Beef--each paired with summer-perfect slections from Monopole Wines. Our menu includes the Umami Bomb, a Tomato Cobbler, Grilled Octopus and Rib Eyes surrounded by our just harvested farm-grown veg, then we will have a grand finish of charred-tomato panna cotta.
