The Small Business’ Guide to Digital Marketing

Arrive at 5:30 PM, sign-in and network with other entrepreneurs and SCORE Volunteers.  Get a good seat for the program that begins promptly at 6:00 PM.

Is your small business struggling with digital marketing?   At best, digital marketing can be intimidating.  At worst, ignore it and your business could fail.

In this workshop Nick Choat brings a first hand perspective of how to use digital marketing to grow your business.  How do you develop or acquire digital marketing skills?  How can you make affordable and effective investment decisions? This workshop will answer these questions and more.

Nick will provide real, local market examples of how he uses digital marketing to grow his Sport Clips Haircuts franchises.

 Our Speaker Nick Choat

Nick Choat is a digital marketing consultant and franchise owner.

Nick’s digital experience includes working for the Walt Disney Company, Verisign, Drugstore.com, Getty Images, Ernst & Young Consulting and the Boeing Company.  What do all of these positions have in common?   Nick was on the forefront of digital disruption occurring across those industries.

Today, Nick owns Sport Clips Haircuts franchises where he aggressively uses digital marketing to grow his business.  This has given Nick a very unique perspective on what works or not, what’s practical or not, and how and when to implement this ever changing set of marketing solutions. He understands the challenges of how to grow a business while still making payroll.

Also, Nick is a SCORE mentor and franchise coach specializing in digital marketing.  He’s an international best selling author, public speaker, and podcast host, and holds a BS in Marketing and an MS in Computer Science, both from the University of Tennessee.

Nick’s philosophy on digital marketing skills is that everyone can, and should, become proficient.
