Project Management

Thursdays: October 25, November 1, 8, 15, 2018

5:45 - 6:45pm, Danbury Library, Farioly Program Room


Anyone who needs to manage a project big or small, simple or complex, will benefit from this workshop series. Participants will learn about the "process-driven approach" as well as the guidelines and best practices for project management, per the Project Management Institute. Participants must attend all four sessions:

October 25:

  • Project Management Basics
  • The Process Driven Approach
  • The Process Groups & Knowledge Areas
  • The Initiating Process Group

November 1:

  • The Planning Process Group
  • What the Project Plan Contains

November 8:

  • The Execution Process Group
  • Execute the Plan, Make it Happen!

November 15:

  • Monitoring and Controlling Process Group
  • Keep Track of Everything and Revise, if necessary.
Your presenter is Jayant (Jay) Bardalai, a Danbury resident and semi-retired professional with over 20 years experience in IT business analysis and project management. He has worked for Fortune 100 companies and is an independent consultant, working on projects both domestic and internationally. He is certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP)
