Please join us for a conversation on cultural competency, facilitated by Kristina Kaljo, PhD and Malika Siker, MD.

Depending on how “culture” is defined, there are so many cultures that it's impossible to be an expert in each one. The reality is that regardless of one’s best intentions, one will likely say something culturally insensitive or offensive to someone and conversely, be offended by someone. The goal of this discussion is how to deal with this in either situation, to grow, and help others. Join us as we discuss cultural competency. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome.
