This half day course (4 hours) helps small business owners understand accounting and finance. The course explains the entire accounting process including how transactions get posted. You will also learn how to read and analyze a set of financial statements. The course also helps you evaluate long term investments using important economic criteria. Techniques for analyzing the cost of products and services will also be covered. The purpose of the course is to give business owners a solid grounding in finance so they can properly manage their business by looking at the numbers. The course includes hands on exercises to help ensure you understand financial management. NOTE: Please make sure to bring a calculator with you when attending this course.
