This Saturday morning workshop series is a fantastic opportunity for you to evaluate your business idea to find out if it is worth investing in! At the end of five weeks you will have enough information to make a good decision about what to do next. Successful experienced SCORE volunteer executives and business experts will help you reach a "go or no-go" decision for starting your business.

• Identify the best ways to fund your start-up
• Turn your idea into action with tools and templates
• Get useful and helpful mentoring sessions

Session 2 Saturday, October 6,  9:00 AM - 1:00 PM: Business Concepts – Main Building, room M102

Session 3 Saturday, October 13,  9:00 AM - 1:00 PM: Marketing Plan - Main Building, room M102

Session 4 Saturday, October 20,  9:00 AM - 1:00 PM: Financial Projections – Main Building, room M102

Session 5 Saturday, October 27,  9:00 AM - 1:00 PM: Funding Sources, Next Steps – Main Building, room M102

The FREE Session 1 presentation on September 29,  gives an excellent overview of what it takes to start a business. It also outlines the scope of the entire workshop series and the business materials and resources provided to students. FREE Session 1 is limited to 100 registered students.

Participants who are ready to pursue their business idea may sign up for the entire workshop series - Sessions 1-5 will feature lectures, interactive exercises and ongoing mentoring. The total package cost of all Sessions 1-5 is only $125. Veterans, active duty and their immediate family members can pay a discounted price of $75 (only with proper ID). Registration for Sessions 2-5 is limited to only 20 registered students on a first-come first-served basis.  More Information

Space is limited.

If you decide to attend only FREE Session 1 you may register for Sessions 2-5 if there is still room in the class (maximum of 20 students).

To register for Sessions 2 - 5 individually, please go to  Local Workshops, make your selection. The cost for individual sessions is $50 per session. 

During Session 1 on Saturday September 29, we will accept cash (exact amount please), checks and credit or debit cards (online using PayPal)
