"Inspiring Women"

A Female Entrepreneur Forum on Digital Marketing

f you're a small business owner, or considering starting a business, this FREE, no charge event is a must. The forum includes a panel of four highly successful female entrepreneurs who will share their expertise on the current digital media climate.

There will be a Q&A portion, as well as networking opportunities, a resource fair, plus complimentary refreshments. Learn about branding, blogging, email marketing, LinkedIn, social media, and more.

PRESENTERS:

Merri Jill Finnstrom, Chief Creative Officer of Hutdogs - MJ Finstrom specialize in the Art of Promotion. She has over 28 years of experience working in creative services and marketing helping businesses, non-profits and community outreach professionals.  She owns HUTdogs with her business partner and brother, David. They manage several email and social media campaigns and are known for their creative ideas. MJ constantly studies the ever-evolving world of marketing and enjoys sharing what she learns with others.

Dr. Veronica Guerrero, CLU, Associate Dean of Undergraduate studies, School Of Management - Veronica has over 15 years of Marketing Communications experience in the technology industry. As a Marketing Director for KPMG Consulting, Veronica was responsible for strategic marketing initiatives with over 40 external alliance organizations including Oracle, SAP, Microsoft and Cisco Systems and served on the marketing leadership team during the re-branding of the consulting organization.  She has provided consulting to entrepreneurs regarding brand position and strategic marketing plans.

Dr. Rose Hayden-Smith, Editor of University of California Food Observer - Dr. Hayden-Smith is an author, academic and activist for a sustainable food system. She is the founding editor/curator of the UC Food Observer blog, which was launched in 2015 as part of the University of California’s Global Food Initiative. She received a UC Star Award for her work on this digital platform and was was named NAWBOVC’s Education Advocate of the Year for 2018

Laurie Hurley, CEO, Social Meets Digital - After spending 20 years in the retail management & hospitality industry, Laurie founded 3 educational businesses and found that social media helped her to increase sales by over 66%. She quickly realized the power of social media and sold her businesses to devote herself full-time to mentoring entrepreneurs in need of a platform to learn and implement social media.
