Using Humor in Your Marketing

A free SCORE Small Business Workshop co-sponsored by The Trumbull Library

If you market your business the same way your competitors do, what makes you different? Why should potential customers/clients choose you? You have to stand out from the crowd and appeal to your target audience in a way that your competitors don't. Humor is a great way to do that! Humor attracts, engages, and entertains. Humor sells!

You will learn:

  • The difference between humor and comedy, and why it matters
  • Why humor is a great marketing tool
  • How you make humor work for you
  • The importance of a good headline
  • The virtual "doggy bag"--strategies to take home and use immediately!
