Harry Miller and Leon Tyler will be helping St. Paul Chapter mentors use two valuable tools that will help you become a more effective mentor – LinkedIn® and the SCORE Client Resource Guide© portal.
Harry Miller will walk you using the SCORE Client Resource Guide. This amazing tool can be used by mentors to locate information, etc. both during mentoring sessions and in preparation and/or follow-up to sessions. It can also be used by mentees whenever a question arises.
Leon Tyler will introduce you to the advantages of using LinkedIn both as a means 
of presenting yourself and your skills to mentees, and as a platform for building a community among mentors within our chapter. For those unfamiliar with LinkedIn he will walk you through the process of joining and creating a mentee-friendly profile. He will also introduce you to the two SCORE-St. Paul LinkedIn pages that we will be using to communicate within our chapter’s mentoring community.
So, register now, mark your calendars, and bring your laptops or tablets (a limited number of computers will be available courtesy of Ramsey County Libraries) to the brand-new Shoreview Library on Thursday evening, September 6th.
