Design Thinking for Manufacturing 2028

Schedule: Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018; 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Course Description:
Design thinking is a user-centered process that challenges assumptions in process or product.  The goal of design thinking is to reach new solutions and alternative strategies.  Reaching a ‘break-through’ that can improve or wholly change an outcome is the purpose of design thinking.  Design thinking has been researched and uses a disciplined process and steps to find user-centered solutions.  The class offers an exposure to a design thinking experience with a University of West Florida facilitator from the Innovation Institute.  Join us for a full, but short process from being a user and seeking a better method or product to rapid design and early fielding skills to reach new outcomes.  Come ready with a design challenge for the team and learn a fast-paced, outcome oriented method to solving challenges of any scale.

Registration for this course is limited to two participants per organization.
