About this series:

This lecture series seeks to give thanks for the spirit of Priscilla Payne Hurd. Mrs. Hurd’s response to her faith was evidenced in her working and supporting causes that sought to serve and transform lives and society. Mrs. Hurd was known throughout the Lehigh Valley as a generous philanthropist committed to higher education, healthcare, and the support of the neediest among us. We at this Cathedral knew her as a person of faith and devotion, supportive of ministries of music, worship, and service to our neighbors in need. Mrs. Hurd died in February of 2013, this series is in her honor and spirit.
