A Small Business Guide to Managing Employees

As an owner or manager of a small business, you may be responsible for complex functions like compliance, HR, and employee benefits.

All of which could lead to government fines or litigation if not managed properly. This seminar will cover rules, regulations, and best practices on a range of topics you may encounter once you have employees.

You will receive reliable useful information on:

Benefits - Understand what fundamental benefits packages can be offered to employees and how they impact organizations in terms of finance and morale.  Be informed on the Health Care Reform and the aspects that apply to you as a small business owner.

Compliance - Ensure your employees meet federal law requirements to prevent laws suits, audits, or fines, by offering safety and ethics training, providing safety and loss prevention services, and posting clear guidelines on employee expectations from onboarding through separation.

Employee Communication - Develop a clear and effective Employee Handbook.  Know what to include to ensure clear communication at all levels of the organization, replacing ambiguity with opportunity for employee development.
