COMPLIANCE: Ensure your employees meet federal law requirements to prevent lawsuits, audits, and fines, by offering safety and ethics training, providing safety & loss prevention services, and posting clear guidelines on employee expectations from onboarding through separation.

EMPLOYEE COMMUNICATION: Develop a clear and effective employee Handbook. Know what to include to ensure clear communication at all levels of the organization, replacing ambiguity with opportunity for employee development

INSTRUCTOR: Kyle Lazzaro, SHRM-SCP

Kyle is an innovative human resources professional who takes an entrepreneurial approach to problem solving. As a Senior Human Resources Generalist at Paychex, Kyle builds strategic relationships with clients in the development and support of their HR function. Kyle has over 10 years’ experience in the human resources profession, serving as both an internal practitioner and a consultant/service provider. As an internal practitioner in the government contracting space, Kyle’s responsibilities ranged from talent acquisition, employee relations and benefits administration, to HRIS management, compliance and training and development. Kyle initially began his career at Paychex, where he worked with employee handbooks and conducted state and federal employment law research.

Kyle holds a B.A in political science from St. John Fisher College and a M.S. in human resources management from Nazareth College. He is a senior certified professional through the Society of Human Resource Management and resides in Arlington, VA.
