Increasing Communication Among
"Non-Verbal" or "Emerging Verbal"
Children with Autism 

Join us on November 13 as Donna Rowan Culley, a Speech & Language Pathologist and owner of a private practice, will be addressing strategies to increase communication among children who are considered “nonverbal” or “emerging verbal” communicators. Included in this talk will be methods used to elicit nonverbal and verbal communication, levels of prompting and when to use these prompts to increase spontaneous communication, and types of visual supports as well as low and high tech augmentative and alternative communication tools that will help increase rather than inhibit verbal communication.  

Please note that Social Skills and Childcare will not be available at this meeting.
