Alex's and Kesters's Technical Workshop for Indonesia

This coming November, Ikon Science will be touring Asia Pacific delivering technical workshops showcasing the broad range of Ikon Science subsurface technology and services that help operators enhance exploration success rates, improve consistency in drilling target selection, maximise economic recovery and ensure safe and efficient drilling and production operations.

Alexander Edwards, PhD and Kester Waters, MESci, MSc will be delivering a joint presentation, during which you will learn who Ikon Science are, the technology and consulting offering and how the solutions and workflows provided by the RokDoc software are delivering new levels of integration in quantitative interpretation, geopressure and geomechanics.

Register Now! Ikon Science Solutions through the E&P life cycle

During the 2 hour presentation, Alex and Kester will present an assortment of operator case studies demonstrating the value created through application of a variety of workflows spanning all play types and covering the full E&P lifecycle from frontier exploration through to 4D life of field surveillance and well and field decommissioning. See how through incorporating facies based inversion into well planning, we were able to accurately predict the reservoir and pressure distribution in a frontier setting, allowing for drilling of a ‘best in basin’ well, under budget by $8m.  Find out how 1D geomechanical models built using image logs, rock test data and high quality elastic logs can be combined with facies based inversion to construct 3D analytic geomechanical models, to understand well behaviour and drilling performance and to minimise risk of wellbore integrity and borehole stability issues.

With well P&A and decommissioning becoming an increasingly important topic in industry, find out how the Ikon approach to P&A can deliver savings of up to $2m per well and how these approaches can be rolled out across P&A campaigns.

If you are a geoscientist or engineer with an interest in improving your success rates in exploration, maximising economic production and recovery, and improving drilling performance and safety and you have an appetite for hearing about the latest technologies from Ikon Science.
