Florida Sales and Use Taxes - Indian River Chamber of Commerce, Vero Beach

This is a workshop designed for just about anyone interested in gaining a better understanding of Florida's Sales Tax. Consumers, business owners and operators will benefit from this course. Students will learn about a "Reseller's Certificate", the responsibilities that come along with it, and what the procedures are for collecting and filing.

Bill Strouss, Presenter

Mr. Strouss is a CPA and served as CFO of a large manufacturer, General Manager of a mid-size engineered products company, and an owner/operator of a small manufacturing company for 20 years, He has experienced and navigated the many facets of starting, growing, and operating a small business. During his career, he also participated at a senior level in "not for profit" industry associations and community organizations.

Recently he completed a Doctoral degree in Leadership Studies while teaching finance, accounting, and economics as an Adjunct Professor at the university level and in an MBA program.
