Erik Yankwitt P.L. is a self-employed accountant, attorney, and mediator with 20 years of experience. He is the head of Yankwitt Law Firm PLLC. His practice includes Business and Corporate Law, Bankruptcy, Family Law and Divorce, Immigration Law, Probate, Trusts and Wills and Real Estate closings. He also operates MyTaxGuru LLC - an accounting firm that handles personal and business accounting, budgeting and QuickBooks data entry, tax planning and preparation.  IRS audits and settlement offers. Mr. Yankwitt is also President of the nonprofit Florida Community support. He is the former president of the Lauderhill Chamber of Commerce, the LBTS Sister Cities Program, and the Parenthood Coalition.

New Tax Law 

 

Students will learn the basics of the 2018 Tax Cuts & Job Act  that effects both personal and business taxes for 2018 and beyond. We will discuss the advantages of buying/leasing a car, office use of the home deduction, energy savings tax credits and more. When we understand the  tax issues that affect our lives and businesses, we are  empowered to make better financial decisions.

Join Eric for an interactive workshop that will provide you with a wealth of information necessary to start or formalize your young or evolving business.  During the workshop, you will:
  • Learn which business entity may help lower your taxes;
  • buying/leasing a car;
  • office use of the home;
  • Medical deductions (HSA & MSA, ACA)
  • Tax Credits
  • New tax law strategies
  • This is a very interesting workshops that adds clarity to the maze of the tax code.  Failing to plan, is planning to fail.

Cost
Fee:
 $35 for online pre-registration; $50 at the door.
Veterans Must present their voucher before attending the workshop.
