Marketing 101: The Essentials

If marketing your business is perplexing, confusing and maybe unsuccessful, this workshop can help remove the mystery and give you a clear path forward.

Marketing 101 will give you a basic overview of marketing and marketing practices.  This highly interactive workshop will help you focus on your business and your customer base, resulting in a more comprehensive understanding of your venture.  The workbook and handouts you will use were created to guide participants to define their business, their target customers and how to reach them.

Attendees will not only clarify aspects of their own business, but under the guidance of the presenter, they will function as an informal “Board of Advisors” by offering comments and ideas to help other participants enhance and/or refine the major marketing elements under discussion.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Why it is important to have a marketing plan
  • How to create a customized marketing plan
  • What media make sense for your business, both traditional and emerging forms, including social media
  • An approach for creating a customized media plan, including budgeting and optimal timing

Note:  Because of its highly participatory design and individualized feedback from the presenter, this workshop is limited to 10 participants.

"The workshop was very helpful and immediately actionable which I loved."- Mitchell G.
