“Nothing happens in business until something gets sold,” said Thomas Watson, founder of IBM.   Sales and marketing are often used interchangeably, but in reality are two distinct disciplines. Successful startup and existing business enterprises must master the sales and marketing tools that create success. This workshop prepares you for the “why, how and what’s next” of understanding your target audience and effectively reaching them. Use this day to plan for growth!

  • The Basics of Traditional Marketing: Business owners must navigate the ever-changing world of marketing to communicate their company message and ignite the sales engine. Starting with traditional methods is key for establishing a foundation you can adapt to new technology throughout the years.
  • Sales Toolbox: Whether selling on-line or face-to-face, there are core selling principles owners must master.   We will equip you with tools to stay ahead of the curve while integrating your sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Being Profitable, Memorable and Meaningful:  Once sales are steady and the brand message is established, it’s your job to stay profitable, memorable and meaningful. How will you continue to increase sales over time? How will you build brand loyalty?  How will you stay top of mind? Marketing requires constant reminders of why your customer chose you the first time.
  • Why Go Digital? Well, that’s where today’s consumer is! To authentically engage with any audience it is imperative that we dive into uncharted waters. You must seek out and maintain an online presence and connections that wouldn’t occur organically.
