SCORE Workshop - Is Your Business Concept Viable?

As part of the new series of workshops to support the successful start-up of your business, SCORE is holding the 2nd workshop in the Simple Steps to Starting Your Business series - Is Your Business Concept Viable?  - on Tuesday, Feb-19th, 6pm - 8pm. (Part 1 of the series is the workshop entitled "Are You Ready to Start a Business?" or "Are You Ready to Launch Your Business?")

In the Business Concepts workshop, we will help you look into your business or business idea in more depth.  From looking at how your business fulfills a need or solves a problem, through looking at customer demographics, the competition, and other market trends, we will help you decide how feasible your business is and get you started with data for your business plan.  We will be using a case study throughout the workshop series - Ann's Nursery - as a guide for the series. When you register, the case study will be sent to you. 

 Questions we will cover:

• Does my product/service fulfill a need or solve a problem?
• What are the features and benefits?
• What is my competitive advantage? OR How is my idea different or better than the competition?
• What does my business model look like?
