Healthy Practices for Ministry: Church Safety

Our Houses of Worship are often called sanctuaries. Yet, in our unpredictable and violent world we wonder if our sanctuaries are really safe spaces for all. We are aware that we need to provide a safe place to worship for our congregants and guests and that we can create true sanctuaries for all.

How do we deal with safety in the church? How do we deal with and welcome sex offenders in the church? These are only a couple of the questions that will be addressed. Gerald Sink from UCC Insurance Board and Ben Rupp, Ohio Representative UCC Insurance Board will lead the discussion.

The event is only $35...free for pastors who retired from ministry.

Lunch is optional and is $10.

Registration deadline is Tuesday, March 5.

Every person engaged in active authorized ministry with standing in the Living Water Association is required to complete a Healthy Practices for Ministry every two years.
