Financial Management for Woman Owned Businesses
Come and engage with lenders and women leaders who will be on-site to share challenges you might be facing as a female founder. Our speaker will be sharing information on State-based incentives and loan programs to address what can be done to support female entrepreneurs who are seeking capital. Prior to her role with DCEO, Maria Colangelo spent over 20 years working in commercial banking, specializing in Government Lending, including SBA and State programs. She has been actively involved with small business owner throughout IL, providing information on access to capital by serving on finance panels and speaking at related events and conferences.

- Empowering women business owners to be confident about money management
- Importance of the business owner’s role in banking relationships
- Review qualifications of the Advantage Illinois Loan program for WOBs
- Understand importance of knowing your numbers on Financial Statements
