John Purdy is a more than 40-year veteran of the marketing and advertising business in the Twin Cities.  He began his career in marketing at Fortune 500 firms and later transitioned into the advertising agency business and brand consulting.  At the end of his professional career, he was privileged to teach at the University of Minnesota as an adjunct professor and then as a clinical professor at the University of St. Thomas on the faculty of the Communication and Journalism Department.  He holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Minnesota and an MBA in marketing from the University of Colorado in Boulder.
