Summary/ What You Will Learn:
Crowdfunding is a new source of business funding as well as a way to get pre-sales of your products. This is a new and fast growing area that allows small businesses and average investors to get involved in an area that was previously open only to very large businesses and wealthy investors. Find out how crowdfunding works and if it is right for you.
Our Presenter is Marshall Persky:
Marshall operated distribution business that required following skills: Extensive marketing skills, selling skills, ability to keep business profitable, understanding of how to differentiate products and services from competitors, hire and train employees.
He has nine years of experience helping SCORE clients start new successful businesses. Marshall is a trainer for Veterans at "Boot to Business" program for SBA and How to finance and write a business plan.
He has extensive non-profit experience as member of several boards, successfully raising capital funds, and most important helping non-profits meet their mission.
