• 7:30 AM: Registration & Practice Putting/Chipping Green
• 8:30 AM: Shotgun Start
• 2:00 PM: Wine, Networking & Golf Awards

ABOUT THE FOUNDATION GOLF TOURNAMENT & FUNDRAISER 

This tournament offers one playing format - FOUR PERSON SCRAMBLE: Players tee off at each hole. The best tee shot is selected and all players will play their second shot from that spot. The best out of each second shot is determined, then all players hit once again from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed. Each player must account for at least three drives.

PAIRS & RENTALS: Please note on the registration form if you would like to be paired with any particular player(s) or if you need rentals. Rentals are $75 per set. In addition, please make sure you include your handicap. If you are a single player, we will pair you with a team.

AWARDS, PRIZES AND MULLIGANS: Prizes will be awarded to the top two teams competing. We will also be raffling off various prizes. Each golfer will be given a raffle ticket in their goody bag and will have a chance to win! Golfers will be able to purchase a pack of 4 mulligans at the CAWG registration for $20/pack. 

ABOUT SONOMA GOLF CLUB

When the president of the California Golf Association and a group of golf professionals were brought to the Sonoma Valley in the 1920’s to find the ideal location for a golf course, they chose what is now the site of the Sonoma Golf Club. That was more than 90 years ago.

Today, Sonoma Golf Club has surpassed even these auspicious beginnings and endured to become a genuine classic from the Golden Age of Golf Course Architecture.

HOTEL ROOM BLOCK 

The 2019 CAWG Summer Conference will be taking place at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. CAWG has negotiated discounted room rates for four different levels at the Fairmont for $309 Regular Rooms; $359 Deluxe Rooms; $499 Junior Suites; $549 Mission Suites per night. The deadline to book a room at one of these room rates is Thursday, May 23. 

ABOUT THE CAWG FOUNDATION 

The CAWG Foundation is a nonprofit public benefit corporation. Each year the foundation typically awards two $8,000 four-year scholarships to students planning to attend a campus in the University of California or California State University system, and four $2,000 two-year scholarships to students planning to attend a California community college. Scholarships are awarded to high school seniors whose parent or legal guardian is employed by a California winegrape grower. The Robert Miller Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student who resides on the Central Coast and plans to major in enology or viticulture at Allan Hancock College or Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
