Tips and Techniques for Turning Prospects into Sales

Overview

We have all felt the sting and frustration of prospects not answering our phone calls or responding to our emails.  But there are strategies to overcome these roadblocks. This workshop will teach you the techniques necessary to build a solid sales foundation that leads to success. You will learn key tactics such as: how to plan an appropriate strategy, set up a prospect pipeline, and establish a data-driven sales funnel. 

At the conclusion of this workshop, you will have the tools needed to expand your client database, secure more appointments and close more deals by learning how to: 

  • Identify your target audience, industries, companies and key decisions makers, that are meaningful to your business. 
  • Develop your sales story by understanding what to say in your outreach efforts. 
  • Take action and get the conversation started.

Instructor:  Alan Lee

Alan has been in Sales and New Business Development for more than 30 years. He began representing commercial photographers in New York City doing business with ad agencies, graphic design firms, financial services and numerous national brands. He then ran his own stock photo agency for several years. In 2006 he got into the commercial real estate field, first in retail and office leasing, then into investment real estate sales. Some years later he founded Flatiron Sales Strategies to help people build their own client lists, acquire new business and to share his experience and successes in sales.

Workshop is Free, Underwritten by SCORE in partnership with the Small Business Development Center and Lehman College.
