Christine Halvorson, founder of Halvorson New Media, has extensive experience with social media marketing, has taught the subject at several of our local colleges, created over 20 e-courses, and helped business owners improve their social media marketing efforts for many years. She has numerous clients all over New Hampshire, both large and small.
This workshop will get you started in using Facebook by showing you how to create a Page for your business and how to use it effectively to get noticed. PREREQUISITE: You must have at least a little experience using Facebook with a personal page.
Bring your own laptop or notebook if you like, but this is not required.
The material is perfect for every small business, including craft and hobby businesses, and creatives who want to market their art. You'll learn:
- How to set up a Facebook Business Page
- How to keep the Page separate from your personal activity on Facebook
- When, what and how often to post to the Facebook Page for maximum visibility.
- How to include simple graphics, photos or videos in your posts
- How to begin to grow a fan base on the Page
