Focused on you the small business entrepreneur, this workshop was created to help people evaluate if this industry leading accounting package is appropriate for your business. This workshop is designed for those who have an understanding of basic financial terms and concepts. For those who don’t have experience in this area we strongly recommend you attend our workshop: Basic Finance for Beginners before attending this workshop. This workshop is also designed for those who are completely unfamiliar with the software.
The workshop will demonstrate the two different operating platforms; the desktop version that is installed and operates on your local PC, and the increasingly popular online version that is a cloud-based product. We will demonstrate, on both platforms, some of the necessary steps for a successful installation and startup launch for your business including setting up a new company; the chart of accounts; customers, including invoicing and collecting cash; vendors, including, recording invoices, and making payment and managing your accounts payable. This workshop is an interactive session with lots of time built in for questions and answers.
