In this 4th of nine Summer Series Lectures, Dr. Paula Petry will explore the influences our family upbringing has had on who we have become and release any negative patterns in a guided shamanic journey, allowing our Higher Selves to emerge.

We become more of who we really are when we allow ourselves to examine our inner world and then accept what it is we find there. The renown psychologist C.G. Jung spoke much about individuation—a process whereby the individual integrates the shadow or hidden aspects of him/her self with their conscious self. In this process, one's True Self or Higher Self can emerge, reducing anxiety, worry, indecision, and inner conflict. One feels more connected with the divine, that lives within and without. I wrote much about this in my upcoming book, News From Oz: A Mother’s Journey Toward Wholeness. My personal story of how I found myself in the beauty of my life’s misfortunes.In this workshop you will:

• Identify your archetypal family patterns from a provided list

• Complete two exercises to illuminate their impact on your life

• Shamanic journey into Mother Earth to release those patterns

• Opening of your 3rd Eye Process

Your Instructor:

Dr. Paula Petry is a shamanic energy medicine practitioner, trained through the Four Winds Society. Her life’s work has been in supporting others on their journey to a fully empowered wholesome self. In 1986, she founded a non-profit to help other parents of children with a disability and spent many years on the faculty at the University of Miami’s medical school. Wednesday Evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 pm held at The Lotus Center July 3rd, 10, 17, 24, 31st and August 7, 14, 21, and 28th.
