A presentation on the value of a trademark, the process of acquiring a trademark, and using trademark law to protect and grow your brand.

Meet Our Presenters: 

Ali Caless assists clients with trademark clearance, prosecution, monitoring, and enforcement. She advises clients in both U.S. and foreign portfolio development and management. Ali is involved in drafting settlement agreements to resolve trademark disputes. She also provides assistance with other intellectual property agreements including assignments, licenses, and consent agreements. Ali also has experience in copyright matters and domain name disputes, including arbitrations under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy.

Benjamin Cantor advises domestic and international clients in trademark clearance, prosecution, monitoring, and enforcement. He is involved in drafting cease and desist letters and settlement agreements resolving trademark disputes. Ben further assists clients in trademark licensing, assignments, and consent agreements. Ben also has experience in copyright law, assisting and advising clients in obtaining and protecting copyrights.

3. Bring your cell phone as you will receive an email with a link to your workshop evaluation form. It will be sent to you toward the end of the workshop so you can complete it effortlessly online before you leave. Wi-Fi is available in most locations.

1. You must register online for all workshops. No walk-ins will be allowed for any paid workshops because we do not have the ability to take payment on the spot.

2. Please arrive with enough time to get settled as every workshop will start promptly.

3. Parking will not be validated for workshops in Downtown Hartford. Please download the WOONERF App on your phone so that you can replenish the parking meter from your phone if you choose to park on the street.
