The SERV Young Professionals Group, a philanthropic-minded volunteer group of professionals associated with businesses and corporations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, is sponsoring a Poker Run, followed by food, beverages and a silent auction.
The Poker Run will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m. and a starting time of 9 a.m. at Cross Country Cycle. The ride includes 5 checkpoints during an approximately 50- to 70-mile round-trip scenic motorcycle ride. At check-in, you will receive a score sheet and route map. You will draw a playing card at each checkpoint and it will be noted on your score sheet. When all riders have returned around 12:30 p.m. to the dealership, the person with the best poker hand at the end will be deemed the winner!
Following the ride, riders will enjoy lunch, beverages, and a Silent Auction until 2 p.m. at Cross Country Cycle.
There will a Poker Run T-shirt for early registrants (while supplies last). Cost is $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
Proceeds from this event will benefit youth programs at SERV Behavioral Health System. SERV is a 45-year-old nonprofit organization providing safe homes and wrap-around support services to more than 1,800 adults and youth throughout New Jersey who are working to recover from serious mental illness or coping with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Please come out to support a great cause!
