This workshop is designed to walk you through the practicalities of starting and managing a nonprofit organization.  We’ll address the following topics:

1. Alternative nonprofit structures
2. Key steps to getting started:  determining organizational structure, establishing a board, developing bylaws
3. The needed filings with the state and federal government
4. Ongoing governance and operations

The workshop instructor will be Bob Whitcomb, a former corporate controller who has founded and led several non-profit organizations.
