You didn’t get into business to spend all day with numbers. We know that. However, a business owner needs a basic dashboard to understand how their business is performing. We make this process simple.
At this workshop, we will introduce 3 financial statements that will give you a high level “dashboard” for how your business is performing financially. Don’t bring a PC; we will not crunch numbers at this session.

- What is a Balance Sheet & what does it show?
- What is an Income Statement & what does it show?
- What is a Cash Flow Statement & what does it show?
- $$$ ratios as a financial management tool: what they mean and how to use them.
- We will review simple Financial Statements for a small Pizza Business to bring this to life.
About Speaker King Barnard:
King, a physicist and past faculty member at Florida Institute of Technology, has, for over 45 years, held senior level management positions with high technology companies in Commercial, Aerospace and Defense industries. In the late 1990s, he founded Management Doctor, Inc., a management consulting firm where he traveled the US providing comprehensive business analysis, profit improvement recommendations, product development, and company turn-around services. King retired to Manatee County, became a SCORE Manasota Volunteer where, for nearly ten years, he has been applying much of his rich career experience, knowledge and skills toward helping individuals start and successfully run their businesses. King's many SCORE clients include a two-time SCORE Manasota Client of the Year Award to Chism Manufacturing LLC, and the Chapter's Entrepreneur of the Year award to United Drone Services, Inc.
