This workshop series lays the groundwork for helping new and aspiring entrepreneurs launch a business idea and understand the steps to building a business that is credit ready. The information is laid out simply in three modules. Come to all three or attend the one that fits your needs. All sessions will be at the C.H. Booth Library in Newtown and will run from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.

Tuesday, October 15: READY: Basics of Business Startup - Gain a basic understanding of the key steps to launching your business.

Tuesday, October 22: SET: Essentials of Becoming Credit-Ready Learn about various financing options and what banks look for to lend money.

Tuesday, October 29: GO: Additional Small Business Support - Learn about local resources to assist you in starting and growing your business - SBA District Office, SCORE of Western Connecticut, SBDC, Center for Women & Enterprise, WBC and Veteran's Centers, etc).

Presented by Moraima Gutierrez, Assistant District Director for Economic Development, State of Connecticut Small Business Administration and Bruce Bennett, SCORE Western Connecticut.
