Harassment Prevention Training for Managers & Supervisors

Governor Brown expanded the harassment prevention training requirement to employers with five or more employees effective in 2019. These employers are now required to provide training to all employees. Non-supervisory employees must receive at least one hour of training while employees in a supervisory role must receive at least two hours of training. An extension has been granted by Governor Newsom, giving employers until January 1, 2021. Employees in a management role must be trained within 6 month from the assumption of a supervisory position. 

This in person, interactive session will cover the latest information for California employers including what is considered sexual harassment, how to handle employee complaints and what every manager can do to prevent harassment from happening in the workplace.

In California, all employers are required to “take all reasonable steps necessary to prevent harassment from occurring” (California Code 12940), and we recommend HR professionals, employers, business owners and supervisors attend. This course meets California harasment prevention training requirements.
