Fall Farm Tour & Feast

It's time again to celebrate another successful summer and the harvest season.  In just a few weeks, we hope to see your family and friends down at the farm for some fall farm activities.

In the past we have done a customer appreciation potluck and a charter bus farm tour.  We know the potluck was a lot of work for families to travel with food and to maintain a safe temperature.  We also know that our bus tour wasn't able to accoodate everyone who wantet to participate.

So this year, in celebration of our 10th year, we are trying something new - a fully catered fall festival at "the farm" featuring a farm tour, contests, and kids activities.

The Agenda:

11:00 AM - checkin.  Be here or be square!  The tractors and wagons depart at 11:30 AM for the farm tour; and Chef Ashley will have fresh pastries and hot drinks to get you started when you arrive.

11:30 AM - farm tour.  Join Trevor on a farm tour showcasing the grassfed beef, pasture raised pork, free range chickens, and Thanksgiving turkeys.  Guests can expect to help collect eggs, see baby pigs, and gooble at the turkeys.

1:00 PM - lunch served.  Chefs Derek and Ashley Suhoski will roll out the royal farm carpet with hearty family classics like meatloaf and fried chicken, as well as seasonal vegetarian dishes ranging from butternut squash bisque to a pumpkin spelt berry risotto.  And dessert.  Did we mention Chef Ashley is a trained pastry chef?  There will be an assortment of pies and seasonal desserts.  Water, tea, cider, and coffee provided.

2:00 PM to 4:00 PM - contests with prizes.  Roll out of your chair in the dining room and stretch those legs.  We need eager contestants to defy physics in the classic sack race, egg toss competition, and pie eating challenge.

Continuous Activites:  11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.   Let the kids run and have fun in the family zone, including:

- face painting

- butternut squash bowling

- corn pit and "needle" in a haystack search

- photo booth

- pumpkin painting

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT THIS YEAR.

NOW COME ON OUT AND LET'S HAVE A PARTY!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there parking?  Yes, we have parking for everyone.  We do encourage you to carpool though with friends or family.

Are there restrooms?  Yes, and by farm standards, they are luxury restrooms.  There are indoor heated bathrooms with hot water for both men and women.

What if it rains?  The barn is 12,000 square feet.  We'll find a way to stay dry until the rain passes.  Lunch will be served inside.

Do I need to bring plates, napkins, or anything else?  Nope, we will provide everything.

What will there be to drink?  Drinks are just coffee, ice tea, apple cider, and water.  We don't encourage sugary soft drinks, but you may bring your own.  Adults.  Feel free to bring your own adult beverages but please stay responsible.  That means share with the staff :)  JK

What should I wear?  Fresh Fork or Ohio City Provisions shirt of course!  It's a farm at the end of October. I'd suggest a sweater and closed toe shoes at the least.
