It is tempting as an entrepreneur to buy a business without incurring the costs of hiring an attorney and accountant – this is especially true when buying a business from an owner you have a direct relationship with. This 2-hour session goes into detail on the tips and tricks that will help you navigate the business buying and selling process, and help you determine whether or not you need outside professional consultants to help.

 Attendees will learn:

  • Advantages and disadvantages to starting a business
  • Tips and tricks on buying and selling a business
  • The difference between an asset purchase and an ownership purchase
  • How to assume seller’s contracts and employee issues
  • Ways to structure payments
  • And more!
