Sherry Borshoff began her professional life in 1986 working as a paralegal for the tax department at the law firm Krieg, DeVault, Alexander & Kapehart. In 1991 she received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Indiana University and went to work for Clauseman & Associates, CPA’s. From there she moving on to Clancy’s, Inc., a multi-unit restaurant company, where she was instrumental in developing the accounting systems, communications, processes and procedures for Clancy’s Inc. and their twenty-one restaurants located across Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.
In July 2000, she was recruited to work for Indianapolis Electric Company, Inc. as her accounting and information technology skills were needed to implement a specialty accounting software which the company had purchased. She implemented that software, and the policies and procedures that were required, and ran their accounting and information technology functions. From 2010 through April 2011, she worked for Central Restaurant Products, LLC, as a Financial Business Advisor, and in May 2011 she made the decision to begin her own tax consulting firm Borshoff Consulting, LLC. In 2016 Sherry earned the distinction of being an IRS enrolled agent.
