Why this workshop may be of interest to you:
This workshop is for people who are starting to think about owning a franchise. They are not sure about the first steps, how to conduct research and due diligence. We will review the tools that are available to help them make a better decision.
Common issues we will address:
There are 3400 franchise companies and when you attempt to research the options, you are easily overwhelmed with the data. Let's discuss the need to determine what you want out of the business and then how to conduct due diligence to see if a particular company is a possible fit.
Most people are aware of the big names in franchising but don’t know all the less expensive service based franchises that might be a better fit for them.

Not everyone wants to design their own unique business yet want to own a business. You will learn about the diverse choices in franchising and what questions to ask franchise companies and existing franchisees that will help them making a better choice.
Your Instructor
Jack Armstrong is the President of FranNet of New Jersey and has owned that business for the last twenty-five years. He is Chairman of the Board of the parent company and has served on FranNet board of Directors for the past 20 years. FranNet has sixty offices nationwide and represents one hundred & fifty carefully selected national franchises. FranNet specializes in the sale and resale of will known national franchise companies.
Jack Armstrong owns a franchise of Sunbelt, which is the largest business facilitation firm in the country with over 250 offices in thirty-eight states. For the last twelve years, Sunbelt has been ranked number one by Entrepreneur magazine in the business brokerage field.
