Grant-writing Basics 

If you're intimidated by the idea of writing a grant to support your organization, this is the session for you. You will learn how to search for grant announcements, how to evaluate eligibility, how to approach writing the application, and how to determine what should be included.  

Our speaker, Anita Khayat, PhD, MBA, has written grants proposal requests ranging from a few thousand dollars up to >$60 million.  She has worked with non-profit organizations for over 30 years, and is a current SCORE member, who mentors many clients with non-profit businesses.   She will help you understand the grant cycle and time lines associated with grant submissions.
