Opening a Restaurant, Food Truck or Pop-Up: Which One is Right for Me?

Opening a new restaurant, food truck or pop-up can seem daunting at first. There are many different things to consider, from choosing the right location, finding financing, to selecting the right name and buying equipment. This class will help you get started and find out which option is right for you.

This workshop will cover:

  • What makes  a business successful and what do customers look for?
  • The importance of creating a business plan.
  • The biggest obstacle to opening a business
  • How to find the best places
  • How to request the correct licenses and permits
  • Should you buy or rent the equipment?
  • How to get and retain managers and employees
  • "Nonprofit" does not mean "no profit." Can my business be a "non-profit" organization?
  • Are grants available?

Workshop Fee $99
