Sherrie is a classically trained consumer product marketer with success in both Fortune 1000 corporations and privately-held entrepreneurial start-ups. Her leadership roles span brand building, innovation, marketing, consumer/customer insight, category management, and strategic sales support for category leaders such as Chiquita, Fresh Express, Fresh Solutions Network, Vlasic, Banquet, and Dr. Scholl’s. Sherrie leverages her marketing and general management expertise to improve brand performance, marketing and sales effectiveness, and total company operations. She expands the scope of marketing beyond its traditional definitions to create innovative business models, strategies, and programs that deliver results. Currently, Sherrie is President & CEO of Sherrie Terry Consulting, which provides interim, part-time, or project-specific Chief Marketing Officer solutions for companies seeking marketing expertise and capacity on a flexible, as-needed basis. Engagements range from strategic planning to program execution and enable clients to capitalize on growth opportunities with greater speed, efficiency, and effectiveness.
A native of Portland, Oregon, Sherrie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Lewis & Clark College. She received her MBA in Marketing at the University of Memphis. Her career journey has taken her from Oregon to Washington to Tennessee to Missouri to Michigan and to Ohio, where she and her family currently reside. When she is not working, she enjoys time with family, walking or biking along on the local bike trail, and travelling.
