Intellectual Property: Patent, Trademark, Copyright Law 

This program will briefly discuss intellectual property interests: defining what intellectual property is and providing descriptions of copyrights, trademarks, patents and non-disclosure agreements. The uses of each type of intellectual property will be presented, discussing how to obtain them and the protections provided from holding them.

R. Mark Field is an attorney with the prestigious law firm of Evans, Petree, P.C. for last several years. He specializes in Intellectual Property protection (patents, trademarks, copyrights and non-disclosure agreements) along with information management, and contractual relationships.  He has a rich diversity of experience that includes representing fortune 500 companies to single-owner start-ups.

Mark is a past co-chair of the ABA (American Bar Association) Section of International Law's Information Services and Data Protection Committee and is on Canada and China Law Committees. He is also a member of the ABA Section of Intellectual Property Law.
