 Financing Your Business

SCORE Oxford Hills and Norway Savings Bank are pleased to present a workshop on financing a business.

Choosing the right financing option for your small business and determining which type you can obtain, can be confusing or overwhelming. More importantly, you need to understand which financing options are available and appropriate for your business, now.

Obtaining financing when you are starting a business or have been open for less than two years can be difficult. Did you know that business loans are now available for as little as $1,000 and that there are loan programs designed specifically for home-based businesses? This workshop will discuss the various types of financing.

Some of the financing options covered include:

  • SBA loan
  • Equipment financing
  • FAME loans
  • Lines of credit
  • Commercial mortgages
  • Other financing options

You will also learn the questions to ask yourself if you need financing, including:

  • How much do I need?
  • How quickly do I need it?
  • What are my credit scores?
  • How much revenue does my business generate?
  • How quickly do I plan to pay it back?

Who Should Attend?

  • Any existing business owners
  • Aspiring entrepreneurs
  • Business owners looking to expand their business
