The new year is upon us, and that means taxes will be due shortly.  This workshop covers what you, as a small business owner, need to know about tax deductions and the savings they can deliver to your business.  What are they?  How can you identify them?  What not to miss and ensure you capture all of them.

Workshop Summary:You will learn about small business tax breaks, deductions and how they can help your small business.  What are some of them, which ones are often missed, and how they can help your bottom line.

• How do they vary from Sole Proprietorship to LLC, for example.

Class Instructor:  Jean Kruse

 Jean is a former SCORE District Director, past Chair of SCORE CR and a CPA. After working   for another CPA firm for several years, Jean operated her own CPA firm for thirteen years. In   1988  she joined RSM McGladrey, LLP, a national firm, where she provided accounting and tax   services to small businesses. Jean has been helping small businesses succeed for over 31     years and has won numerous awards for doing it well. She is also one of the founders of the   Professional Woman's Network (PWN) in Cedar Rapids and a professional woman's advocate. She is a University of Iowa graduate with a BA in English.
