SBA Resources and Services for All Small Businesses

Want to learn more about the US Small Business Administration (SBA) and the free or low-cost resources available to you as a Small Business?

This presentation will review how to:

  • Get help developing your ideas and determine if they will work for you as a new business
  • Review SBA Lending and credit requirements needed to become 'lender ready'
  • Describe the types of SBA loans that are available
  • Learn about Government Contracting

Presented by Erika Pearson, a Lender Relations Specialist for the United States Small Business Administration (SBA).  Erika has 30 years of lending background and a wealth of financial customer service experience.  She actively works with the Lenders, Partners, and the Public throughout central NJ, advising them of the resources and services available to small business owners through the SBA.

In the past, Erika worked for the IRS as a Taxpayer Advocate, assisting taxpayers to resolve their IRS problems.  Prior to that, she worked in the private sector as a Wholesale Mortgage Account Executive, Underwriter, and Loan Officer for employers such as Chase Manhattan Bank, Santander BankCorp and AIG.
