Free SCORE Seminar - So You Want to Start Your Own Business
Attendees will get an overview of what it takes to succeed in starting your own business and what it takes to sustain a successful business long-term. You will understand the necessity of business planning, sales/marketing and financial analysis. We'll discuss the questions you need to think about before moving forward. You will receive tools to assist you in planning your business.
Our speaker, Greg White, is a life long resident of Ashtabula County, Ohio. In 1991, Greg White founded American Alert Corp. located in Geneva Ohio, with satellite offices in Conneaut, Solon, Chardon and Willoughby Ohio. The company has received several national magazine write ups for ground breaking marketing approaches. Greg also received several life safety and community awards. As an Ambassador for the National Center for Exploited and Missing Children, he speaks to local organizations about child safety. He serves on the board of directors Columbus Ohio, and worked on legislation for the security industry, including organizing the largest exposition in the organizations history.
In addition to volunteering with SCORE, Greg volunteers with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Promise Keepers, Geneva Grape Jamboree and the Ashtabula county covered bridge festival.
